Chicago & Finish Line

“The gun, the gun, the gun, the gun…” Well, ladies and gents, welcome to the latest instalment of “What’s Next”! What is next, you ask? CHICAGO! And Finish Line! Read below for more 🙂

CHICAGO The Musical, “the longest-running American musical in Broadway history,” is on tour! Over the next two weeks, the show will be on the East Coast before moving to Arizona. This show has INCREDIBLE relevance — in my life, anyway lol — because I just got cast in a production of Cagebirds, being put on by my friend Morgan Capodilupo! Both shows feature women in a jail or a “cage” and show the different ways that people deal with captivity… But the play ends much differently than the musical 🙂 Come check us out in late April — I’ll let you know when!

Finish Line is a new play opening TOMORROW in Boston — it tells the stories of those who lived through the Boston Marathon. Heavy, right? But that makes for the best theatre, I swear. One of the professors in my program is connected to this play through his wife, Liana Asim. As “a story of recovery, resilience, and determination,” I’m SUPER excited to see this, specifically because it is opening here in the heart of the city. World Premiere is April 2017.
